On a warm summer day, serve this delightfully refreshing salad for lunch along with thick slices of freshly baked nutbread. The combination of strawberries and spinach topped with a sweet-tangy dressing is out of this world.

Ingredients

1-10 oz. package of Topless Salad Quickies™ Spinach
1 pint fresh strawberries, washed, hulled & sliced
½ cup sugar
1 T poppyseeds

1 T minced onion

¼ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp. paprika
½ cup vegetable oil
¼ cup cider vinegar
2 T sesame seeds, toasted

Directions:
Place the spinach and sliced strawberries in a large salad bowl; set aside. Place the remaining ingredients, except the oil, vinegar and sesame seeds, in a blender. While the blender is running, add the oil and vinegar in a slow steady stream until mixture is thoroughly blended and is thickened. Drizzle over strawberries and spinach. Add toasted sesame seeds and toss well to coat. Yields about 4 generous servings. (1-1/4 cups dressing).

To Toast Sesame Seeds: Heat sesame seeds in a heavy, dry skillet over medium-high heat, stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool.
