Summary

The primary function of this position is to manage and support the marketing activities of the Green Giant Fresh group of Licensees and provide liason services between the group and General Mills.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage new product launches into the marketplace.
• Create and revise content for all packages of fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Manage packaging approval process with the License Holder.
• Ensure legal compliance of package including all elements of layout.
• Work closely with consultants and graphic designers, communicate progress across company.
• Create promotional ad content and layout. Garner partner company approval. Solicit and initiate crosspromotion/ co-branding opportunities with other companies to create win-win marketing strategies.
• Develop marketing materials for grocery stores including banners, product signs, bin covers, and shelf strips.
• Manage project suggestions from growers/suppliers. Create/implement project management process that enables projects to be completed fully, accurately, and ahead of schedule.
• Assist in redesign of product information sheets and sales team materials to feature benefits of product and brand.
• Assist in coordination of trade shows annually including marketing materials, booth shipment/set-up, hotel arrangements,cooking demonstrations, and show schedules.
• Assist in coordination and creation of articles and information for use in various Social Media outlets.
• Work closely with all members of the Marketing team on projects as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and four + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
